Karnak and Luxor Temples

The final destination of our Nile Cruise was the city of Luxor, which spans the banks of the River and has incredible treasures on both the West and East Banks. Our first stop was the spectacular Karnak Temple, a massive complex with evidence of it’s original, colorful imagery everywhere. The Obelisk’s pair is the one in the center of Paris. At Luxor Temple, there is also a beautiful old Mosque within the complex; an interesting layering of history.
